Three years after the Securities and Exchange Commission started its investigation of A.R. Capital Group Inc, charges have finally been made against its members. On April 30, as reported by the Dow Jones, two of the firm’s founders, Daniel Ledven and Alan Fishman, were charged with securities fraud and wire fraud. The third founder, Gary Gelman, faces the same charges but is reportedly on the run. The three defendants ran a scheme from 2003 to 2006 where they allegedly collected $20 million from investors and then wired the money to bank accounts in the Ukraine.
