Albert Ee to start Global Macro hedge fund AE Capital Management

Albert Ee, the former managing director of Millennium Management LLC’s Asian markets division, is starting up a hedge fund in Singapore. According to an article from Bloomberg, AE Capital Management will seek to profit by trading off of macro-economic trends.

The hedge fund, which Mr. Ee plans to launch in February, will start with $10-$20 million in AUM with the goal of raising $300 million in three years. AE Capital Management will also pursue returns in the 15-20% range with a 1.5% of assets and 20% of profits fee structure.
