Black River Asset Management Launches Commodity Equity Long/Short Opportunity Fund

| Black River Asset Management has launched the Black River Commodity Equity Long/Short Opportunity Fund. The Minnesota-based hedge fund manager’s newest fund will invest in fertilizer, grains, meat and food distribution, along with the industrial chains, such as steel, transportation and energy. The new Black River hedge fund is managed by Senior Managing Director Gregg Groechel. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Groechel co-founded the hedge fund manager RedSky Partners in 2002. | ||
