Citadel Investment Group has purchased 5.3 percent of RadioShack stock. Although representatives from Citadel have claimed that this is a passive investment they are now the fourth-largest holder of RadioShack stock. Lately out of the top 7 holders of RadioShack have been selling off their holdings, except for Citadel which has begun increasing its stake in the troubled company. With RadioShack's quarterly report just published Citadel received moderately good news when it was announced that sales in stores opened for more than a year were up 6.9%, and although profits were lower, they still beat analysts expectations.
