Clint Carlson’s Carlson Capital gains allocation from West Virginia

| Carlson Capital, a Dallas-based hedge fund manager, has secured the West Virginia Investment Management Board as its newest institutional client. According to a report from HFMWee, the actual size of the investment has not been revealed. Carlson Capital is a multi-strategy manager that was founded in 1993 by President and Chief Investment Officers Clint Carlson. According to the West Virginia Investment Management Board’s financial statements, the pension manager also has investments with several other hedge funds, including Brevan Howard, CQS Management Ltd’s CQS Convertible & Quantitative Strategies and JP Morgan Asset Management’s Highbridge Capital Management. | ||
