Costa Brava vs. Telos
| July 14th, 2008 | ||
| Costa Brava, the Boston based hedge fund managed by Roark, Rearden & Hamot Capital Management, seemingly has lost its 3 year fight with Telos, a defense contractor, after a judge dismissed all charges against Telos. Costa Brava petitioned the courts to put Telos into receivership or to dissolve the company. Judge Matricciani also passed an injunction forbidding the two Costa Brava officers sitting on the Telos board- Andrew R. Siegel and Seth W. Hamot- from contacting any Telos auditor. Telos alleged that the officers threatened its previous auditor, Reznick Group, with litigation in an effort to change accounting procedures. | ||
