Dalton Investments Launches Distressed-Debt Strategy

| Dalton Investments launched a distressed-debt strategy this month. From 1999-2006, the firm had successfully run a similar strategy, but it shut it down when it came to the conclusion that there was a lack of compelling investment opportunities. According to Reuters, the new strategy will be managed by CEO Steven D. Persky and portfolio manager Swaraj Chowdhury. | ||
