Earth Capital Partners Announces New Investment Team

| Earth Capital Partners, a sustainable development investor, recently announced their new Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry team, which will be headed by Bosworth Monck. Mr. Monck is joined by Gabriel Montana and Richard Smith. The team will focus on “agriculture, forestry and biodiversity investments, with a particular focus on deploying capital in Latin America” and will advise Earth Capital Partners on its funds in these areas with “appropriate risk-return characteristics and low correlation to traditional asset classes.” Earth Capital Partners currently focuses on sustainable agriculture and renewable energy, with plans to expand into the clean technology, environmental commodities and water management sectors. The firm was co-founded by its Chairman Stanley Fink who was previously the Chairman and CEO of the Man Group plc. The firm’s renewable energy fund, ECP Renewable Energy Fund One LP, was launched last year and invests in biomass, biogas and solar projects across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. | ||
