Former SPM star trader finally joins John Burbank’s Passport Capital

| Jeffrey Kong, a former star trader at Structured Portfolio Management (SPM), will be joining Passport Capital, according to the Stamford Advocate. Last year, SPM sued Mr. Kong, after he took a job with John Burbank’s Passport Capital, for violating a non-compete clause. In response, Kong counter sued SPM demanding compensation for his a cut of the performance fees that he generated while managing portfolios at SPM. | ||
