GLG Partners opening offices in Hong Kong and Beijing

Hedge fund manager GLG Partners (NYSE: GLG) is expanding into Asia by opening up offices in Hong Kong and Beijing. According to Reuters, the Hong Kong office will house an Asia focused research team, which will be led by portfolio manager Anuj Mutreja. Mr. Mutreja is a member of the firm’s London-based Global Emerging Markets team, which also includes Tal Sandhu, Wadah Al-Adawi and Rowan Logan. The Beijing “representative” office will be used primarily for marketing purposes.
