GLG Veteran Georges Gedeon launches Mereor Management

Georges Gedeon, a former Executive Director at Goldman Sachs and most recently a manager at GLG Partners from 2002 until March of this year, has founded his own investment management firm, Mereor Management and Advisory. Mereor Management is based in Paris and specializes in merger arbitrage, investing in equity and debt of companies that are subject to M&A and takeover activities.

The other founding partners of Mereor Management are Philippe Gedeon, who previously headed distribution departments at Daiwa and Citigroup, and Jean-Luc Biamonti, a founding partner of Wasserstein Perella and former partner in Goldman Sachs’ Euroepan investment banking division.
