HIM Capital launches financial focused HIM Income Fund

HIM Capital Ltd announced today the launching of their new HIM Income Fund. According the firm, HIM Income Fund will be managed by Nick Brind and will invest in both the equities and bonds of financial institutions. The fund will have a target yield of 6%.

Managing Director Mark Stacpoole said of Brind who has worked previously as a fund manager at Exeter Asset Management and New Star Asset Management, “as an experienced income fund manager in arguably the most important sector of the market, Nick is well placed to replicate the excellent performance that he has demonstrated in the past.” Brind commented that now was an opportune time to launch an income fund. He continued to say, “there are some great opportunities to invest in financial companies worldwide and the combined team at HIM Capital has proven expertise in drilling down into these markets to identify the businesses, large and small, that will offer the best returns.”
