Hans Haywood launches Panda Global Master Fund

Panda Global Advisors, a firm founded by Hans Haywood, has launched a new emerging markets macro fund. According to Absolute Return+Alpha, the Panda Global Master Fund expects to raise $50 million by June 2010, targeting $100 million by year end.

The firm has been described as “Bearish on China.” Mr. Haywood and his partners Mark Landis and Jason Rok all worked at Credit Suisse together from 1997—2004.
