| Harbinger Capital Partners has announced that it has hired Omar Asali who he will be responsible for global portfolio strategy and portfolio analytics at the firm. In December 2008 Mr. Asali along with Peter Ort left Goldman Sachs to pursue new opportunities. While at Goldman, the pair of managing directors co-headed Goldman Sachs Hedge Fund Strategies group. It has also been reported that Mr. Ort has recently joined hedge fund Karsch Capital Management. | ||
