| David Einhorn generated returns of almost 4 percent in October primarily based on the investment results of reinsurer Greenlight Capital Re. Einhorn is the Co-President of Greenlight Capital, an investment management firm founded in 1996 with Jeffery Keswin. Einhorn, notorious for his short of Lehman Brothers Inc. prior to its failure, is currently betting on the debt of CIT. CIT filed for bankruptcy protection on Sunday. | ||
