James Pallotta to spins off Tudor funds into Raptor Global

| James Pallotta the vice chairman and managing director of Tudor Investment's will spin off Tudor's Raptor Global and Altar Rock Funds as well as a portion of Tudor's main BVI Global Fund into his own firm called Raptor Global Funds. Mr. Pallotta managed those funds for Tudor. Tudor's chairman, Paul Tudor Jones II wrote that the company expects that it will invest capital in Mr. Pallotta's funds. Tudor is known mainly as a global macro hedge fund firm. Raptor Global will be an equity hedge fund. Tudor Investment Corporation is an alternative investment management firm involved in active trading, investing and research in the global equity, debt, currency and commodity markets. The Tudor Group was founded in 1980 by Mr. Jones. Affiliate Ospraie Management broke away from Tudor in January 2004. | ||
