Jean-Philippe Blochet leaves Brevan Howard Asset Management

| One of Brevan Howard Asset Management’s co-founders, Jean-Philippe Blochet, has left the European hedge fund manager. Mr. Blochet co-founded the firm in 2002 along with Alan Howard, Christopher Rochos, James Vernon and Trifon Natsis. Prior to Brevan Howard, Mr. Blochet worked alongside the other founders on Credit Suisse First Boston’s Developed Market Rates trading team. According to a Brevan Howard statement, the 46-year-old Mr. Blochet made his decision after taking a sabbatical from the firm in 2008. At the end of last month, another partner Stephane Diederich left the firm. Diederich had joined Brevan Howard to leads its collateralized debt obligation products. Brevan Howard is based in London with additional offices in New York, Hong Kong, Tel Aviv, Jersey, Washington, Bermuda, Tokyo, Mumbai and Dublin. | ||
