Julian Robertson’s Tiger Management Corp to accept outside investors for first time in 10 years

| Tiger Management Corp, the hedge fund management and seeding firm founded by Julian Robertson in 1980 that closed to outside investors in March 2000, will begin accepting investments into its Tiger Accelerator Fund. According to CNBC, the Tiger Accelerator Fund will invest its capital into six pre-selected Tiger Management-seeded hedge funds, which also commonly referred to as “Tiger Seeds.” Tiger Veda, Teewinot, and Tiger Ratan are all generalist funds. Long Oar focuses on cyclicals and industrials; Tiger Eye focuses on natural resources, financials, and industrials; Cascabel focuses on tech, financials, telecom, and consumer goods. | ||
