Kent Muckel joins Perella Weinberg Partners’ asset management business

Kent Muckel joined Perella Weinberg Partners last month as a partner. Mr. Muckel was most recently the Chief Investment Officer at Baylor University where he oversaw the day-to-day practices and operations of Baylor’s Office of Investments.

Before Baylor, Mr. Muckel was a senior portfolio manager at the University of Colorado Foundation. Before that, Muckel spent 8 years at Qwest Asset Management where he rose to the position of Vice President and Senior Director for Public Markets.

Perella Weinberg Partners is a financial services firm that was launched in 2006 to provide corporate advisory and asset management services. The firm’s asset management arm now has nearly 100 employees and $5.5 billion in assets under management.
