Nomura To Launch an Asia-Focused Hedge Fund

| The Wall Street Journal reported today that Nomura Holdings is planning on launching an Asia-focused hedge fund on April 6, 2009. The portfolio management team for the fund joined the firm as part of Nomura’s purchase of parts of Lehman Brothers’ European and Asian operations in 2008. Nomura has committed $200mm in seed capital to the fund. | ||
