Nomura's Haga to Start Firm

| Makoto Haga, a prominent hedge fund manager with experience at Nomura Holdings and Sumimoto Trust & Banking Co., is starting an asset management firm. Wing Asset Management Co. will follow a strategy focusing on undervalued securities among 800 large Japanese companies. The firm has already lined up the possibility of managing an overseas fund. Hedge funds performed well in April as global markets regained some of their momentum and apprehension over a global economic slowdown decreased. | ||
