Teall Edds and Stuart Wilson’s Orchard Capital Partners, which spun-off from Stark Investments in late late 2009, launched the Orchard Gemini fund last month. The new hedge fund, which will open to new investors during the second quarter, employs a long/short strategy and focuses on Asia-Pacific opportunities. According to an article from Reuters, the firm has approximately $400 million in assets, which does not include the $1 billion in assets Orchard Capital continues to manage for Stark Investments.
