Osmosis Capital Expands Investment Team with Private Equity Veteran

Osmosis Capital LLP announced this week that it had hired Monica Pradhan as an Investment Manager. Osmosis Capital is a specialist asset manager that focuses on developing low carbon investment solutions for institutional investors.

Prior to joining Osmosis, Ms. Pradhan was the Head of Private Placements at Fairfax IS. Her previous experience includes private equity focused positions at First Avenue, Auda UK and Hermes.

Ms. Pradhan joins the firm’s expanding investment team which includes Sean Gorman, who was previously the head of business development at developer Trinergy, and Jim Totty, previously of Citi Alternative Investments’ Nikko Principal Investments. Mr. Totty joined the firm in May of this year.

Osmosis Capital’s CEO Ian Wilson commented in a press release, “Monica has an impressive track record in private equity fund investment, having managed major funds across Europe, the U.S., and Asia. She brings an invaluable perspective from the buy-side, which is highly complementary to the team’s existing venture capital and low carbon sector experience.” Ms. Pradhan further stated that she is excited to be working at Osmosis, which is at the “forefront of developments in the [low carbon] space.”
