Paris Capital Partners hedge fund launched by KBC Alternative veterans

Carlo Georg, a former chief investment officer at KBC Alternative Investment Management, will be launching Paris Capital Partners hedge fund alongside KBC’s former co-chief executive, Thomas Korossy, and former chief operating officer, Mahmoud Faghihi. According to the Financial News, Paris Capital’s hedge funds will employ relative value, volatility trading, convertible bonds, and credit arbitrage strategies.

Paris Capital Partners’ launch comes alongside a number of new fund launches, including those of BlueBay Asset Management, Brevan Howard Asset Management and Polar Capital.
