More hedge fund managers are launching UCITS III funds. Alternative Decisions, a HedgeTracker contributor, is surveying investment professionals to discover opinions and highlight risks in the current euphoria. Alternative Decisions is seeking opinions from promoters, investors and fund managers.

UCITS III Funds are being hailed as the salvation for hedge funds and a means of dispelling rogue status and rebuilding investor confidence. A camp believes that UCITS is a credible way forward in terms of security, liquidity and transparency. A second camp believes the hedge fund brand to be broken, with vendors, through UCITS, just looking for another wrapper with which to sell their wares. The first part of the work is a 6 question survey. Results from the survey will be published on hedgetracker.com.
