| Lansdowne Partners’ flagship hedge fund, the Lansdowne UK Equity Fund, reportedly returned 5.7% in January, according to Reuters. Lansdowne, which is one of the largest European Hedge Fund managers, was ranked number 21 on HedgeTracker’s most recent Top 100 Hedge Funds List. Like many other prominent hedge funds, the Lansdowne UK Equity Fund had a rough 2011, losing nearly 20%. Lansdowne Partners was founded in 1998 by Paul Ruddock and Steve Heinz. Mr. Ruddock manages Lansdowne’s UK Fund, along with Peter Davies. | ||
