Paul Tudor Jones’ Tudor Investment Corp. Reaps Higher Rewards at Investors’ Expense
| August 26th, 2011 | ||
| At a time when many hedge fund managers are bowing to the pressure of investor consternation over high fees, Paul Tudor Jones, the billionaire owner of Tudor Investment Corp., and manager of the highly successful Tudor BVI Global Fund Ltd., is holding fast. As reported in the Wall Street Journal, Tudor is capitalizing on the high level of interest in his flagship fund, which has consistently outperformed the majority of its peers. A 3% August gain in the Tudor BVI Global Fund in the face of overall hedge fund declines only helped his cause. Not one to completely ignore his client’s concerns, he did acquiesce on some fees, but will continue to charge at the upper-end for management fees. | ||
