| March 4th, 2010 | ||
| A team of seven former Polygon Investment Partners traders have launched Hong Kong-based Black’s Link Capital Ltd. The new firm is set to launch an Asia focused hedge fund later this month. According to Bloomberg, the Black’s Link hedge fund, which will focus on securities affected by mergers and other events, will be headed by co-chief investment officers Anthony Correa and Hani Abuali. Mr. Correa and Mr. Abuali joined Polygon in 2005 and 2007, respectively. Both have experience in event-driven and Asia markets.. Hoping that economic growth and market development in Asia will generate corporate events like spin-offs, recapitalization, and buyouts, Black’s Link will invest in Australia, Japan and other Asia-Pacific markets. | ||
