Robert Gibbins’ Autonomy Capital hires Deephaven Capital veteran

| Autonomy Capital, a global macro focused hedge fund manager, has hired Scott Nelson to runs its investor relations and business development efforts. According to Reuters, Mr. Nelson was previously the COO of Deephaven Capital Management. Earlier this year, Autonomy Capital added Greg Burnes to lead its global investment operations and Norman Kabir to head up technology development. Burnes and Kabir joined Autonomy from DiMaio Ahmad Capital and Merrill Lynch's proprietary trading group, respectively. Autonomy Capital was founded by Robert Gibbins in 2003. According to Reuters, the firm’s flagship Autonomy Global Macro Capital Fund posted a 61% gain through October of this year. | ||
