Siris Capital to spin-off from Steven A. Cohen’s SAC Capital

| SAC Capital Advisors LP reportedly plans to spin-off its private equity group Siris Capital, which is led by Frank Baker, Peter Berger and Jeffrey Hendren. According to an article from Bloomberg, Siris Capital aims to raise $400 million for a buyout fund focusing on technology, telecommunications and health care industries. Siris Capital’s management team joined SAC Capital in 2007 after leaving Tim Collins' Ripplewood Holdings. | ||
