Star Macro Trader at Moore Capital Opts for Early Retirement

| Henry Bedford, a London-based senior portfolio manager, announced he is retiring from Moore Capital Management at age 56. Bedford joined Moore in 2003 after trading at both Caxton Associates and Goldman Sachs’ proprietary trading desk. Bedford is widely viewed as one of the world’s top macro traders and, prior to his retirement, was managing a sizeable portion of Moore’s assets. In addition to his trading responsibilities at Moore, Bedford also helped manage the endowment for Hamilton College, his alma mater, alongside Goldman Sachs’ David Soloman. | ||
