Ramius Capital veterans Stephen Raneri and Arthur Rosen are reportedly in the process of launching LionEye Capital Management. The new hedge fund management firm will be based in New York and will employ an event-driven strategy. Before Ramius, Mr. Raneri was at Soros Fund Management.
