Bloomberg reports that another top investment professional, John Ho, is leaving The Children’s Investment Fund (TCI) after disagreeing with TCI’s founder on the firm’s Asian investment strategy. Late last month it was reported that another senior investment professional, Snehal Amin, was leaving the firm.
Mr. Ho opened TCI’s Hong Kong office and headed up the firm’s investment team in Asia. He was in charge of the firm’s highly publicized activist battle with J-Power. He is reportedly planning to launch his own Asian equities fund. Prior to joining TCI in 2004, he worked at Citadel Investments. |
