Toscafund Trims Aberdeen Stake

| In a regulatory filing yesterday, activist hedge fund Toscafund revealed that it had trimmed its position in Aberdeen Asset Management to 23.21% of shares out. Toscafund is Aberdeen’s largest shareholder and has engaged in regular discussions with management over the past year. Toscafund first invested in Aberdeen in March of 2008. In June of 2008, Toscafund’s position peaked at 25.49% of shares out. | ||
