UCITS HFS Index continues steady growth in April

| The HFS UCITS Index continued its positive trend last week gaining 0.13%, this matches its performance from the second week of April. Overall for April, its intra-month performance is now at 1.05% (as of April 23rd 2010). According to 2n20.com AG, the top performing UCITS strategies last week that outperformed the broad index included the Credit (+1.44%), Fixed Income (+0.78%), and Global Macro (+0.69%). The only loser for the week was the CTA strategy (-0.31%), which has been the worst performing strategy in the HFS UCITS Index year-to-date. . Month to date the top performing strategies have been Credit (+3.67%), Global Macro (+2.66%), Convertible (+1.77%) and Event-Driven (+1.76%). The Credit and Global Macro strategies are also the top performers year-to-date. Overall, the UCITS HFS Index has gained 3.30% for 2010. | ||
