Vets of Perot's Troubled Hedge Fund Launch Twin Tree
| May 19th, 2009 | ||
| Michael Presley and John Sawyer are in the process of launching Twin Tree Capital Management, a volatility trading focused hedge fund. Mr. Presley and Mr. Sawyer left Ross Perot’s troubled hedge fund, Parkcentral Capital, just months after the firm’s $2.5 billion debt fund blew-up. According to the New York Post, Presley and Sawyer were reportedly not involved in the debt fund’s failure. Twin Tree documents that were obtained by the post state that, "since inception, the manager's annualized historical returns have exceeded 20 percent, with no down years, and total profits have been over $350 million." Mr. Presley joined Parkcentral in January of 2002. Prior to joining Parkcentral, he worked for a year as a Quantitative Analyst at Enron North America. | ||
