GARP or "Growth at a Reasonable Price" styled hedge funds and institutional investors primarily invest in companies that exhibit a combination of both value and growth characteristics. GARP companies commonly have PE and PB ratios that are in the middle of the investment spectrum. GARP strategies are used by a number of the more prominent and larger investment managers. In addition, many GARP hedge fund managers have both value and growth teams that work separately and in tandem.
