Carlson Capital is a hedge fund manager that was founded in 1993 by President and Chief Investment Officer Clint Carlson, who was previously the head of risk arbitrage for the investment arm of the Bass Brothers organization. The firm manages the Black Diamond group of hedge funds, two separate managed accounts and one fund of hedge funds. The firm is based in Dallas and also has offices in London, New York and Connecticut.
